As an experienced music instructor with over 20 years in music education, I focus on building a strong foundation while encouraging creativity and expression. My comprehensive music curriculum caters to students of all ages, from beginner lessons to advanced training, including audition preparation.
Lessons are available for students ages 5 to adult in my quiet, beautifully appointed home music studio.
Voice Lessons
Our experienced vocalist & music instructor, Dawn Firak, teaches a diverse music curriculum that includes styles such as musical theater, classical, opera, R&B, worship music, rock, and pop. We also offer audition preparation, acting skills development, and proper techniques to help students gain confidence in their voice.

My mission at Inspire Note by Note is to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians through affordable music lessons! I believe that everyone has the potential to create beautiful music, and I am dedicated to guiding them on their journey. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and my Master of Music at Northern Illinois University. With over 20 years of experience as a vocalist, pianist, and music instructor, I have taught elementary and middle school music and provided private music lessons to students ranging from ages 5 to adults. I offer a well-rounded music curriculum that includes piano lessons, voice lessons, music theory, and audition preparation. I look forward to developing and nurturing your love of music!
